Voice command that available in Google Search seems want to challenge Apple's Siri that has already featured the same features in each of Apple gadget. What if both of those software is compared. Siri vs Google Search? Which one is the best?

Siri is one of amazing features that involved in iPhone 4S. Beside help the user to find what to do, this digital assistant sometimes can make the users smile because of their answer that sometimes funny. But now Google has the same features in their woman voice personal digital assitant that implemented in Android Jelly Bean. This features actually already exist in Android, but the new Google Search already prefect some of the features.

An application research firm, Localytics has published the results of  their research about the use of the application on the mobile platform  Tuesday ago (6/26/2012). Their findings indicate that iOS application are more frequently used than Android application. It can be said that Android users only download the applications but rarely to use it.

The findings were based on retention figures app or how often an application is used. This figure is important for application developers  to know that their application is actually used after has been downloaded.



Nokia Releases 3 Asha Phone without Physical Keyboard

Nokia launches three new Asha mobile phones that run with S40 operating system, ie, Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311. All of them became the first S40 phone that features full touch screen. Previously, Nokia Asha series has implemented touch screen interface, but still include the "physical keyboard". Nokia targeting the youth segment who are hungry for entertainment, particularly gaming, internet, instant messaging and social networking sites.

Nokia promises users who purchase one of three new phones Asha, will get 40 free games from EA, as well as Angry Birds from Rovio. To support the internet connection, Nokia will give Nokia Browser 2.0 browser application, which is claimed to save the use of internet data up to 90% from the previous version of Nokia Browser.

Ubuntu Mobile Phone Will be Launched at least on 2013


Linux Ubuntu operating system mobile version is being developed so that mobile operating system can run on smartphone, giving a sign that the release date of this OS is near. It's probably will released at the end of this year or even early 2013.



Canonical officials, as the company that develops Ubuntu, hinted at the sidelines of the Computex Technology Show in Taiwan that held in June 2012. Canonical Global Marketing Manager, John Barnard says, there will be an announcement about Ubuntu OS for smartphones by year's end, although he did not say the announcement was a moment of the launch of Ubuntu for smartphone.

Canonical founder Mark Shuttkeworth just say the word "may", as he did not give the exact date, when asked about the Ubuntu OS for mobile launch that will be released on early 2013.
