Intense competition in smartphone business forced manufacturers to design products as good as possible. The phone that is equipped with quad-core processors are designed to very friendly for the users.



"The advantages of this phone is that it can detect eye movements, as long the eyes keep staring at the screen," said Yoo Young Kim, Managing Director of PT Samsung Electronics Indonesia, during the launch of Samsung Galaxy S III, on Tuesday (05/22/2012) afternoon in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Because of this technology, the phone will never sleep when the users actively looking at the screen. So it no longer depende on the setting of the time.

Thai Government Buy 400 Thousand Android Tablet Scopad SP0712 for Education

Thai government has approved the purchase of 400 thousand units Android tablet, Scopad for education purpose. The total budget spent on the project of the procurement of tablet for education reach US $ 32.8 million.



Unlike India government that buy cheaper branded tablet, Aakash at price of $ 35, Thailand want to buy more qualified tablet to ensure that the hardware and software can support teaching and learning activities of the students.

The tablet that Thai government purchased is Scopad SP0712 that manufactured by vendors from China, Shenzen Scope. The tablet is priced U.S. $ 81 per unit, with specification of 7-inch screen, 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and using Android operating system 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Lava Introduces Xolo X900, First Intel Based Smartphone in the World

After was reported before, smartphone that based Intel Atom "Medfield" was finally launched on the market. Lava International, a mobile handset company from India has introduced the first smartphone based on Intel Atom Meldfield, Xolo X900.


Lava working with Intel launching a smartphone-based Intel Atom and will be available in Indian market on 23 April at price of $ 422.

"Through Xolo X900 smartphone, we are pleased to bring India phone to to meet their needs who want to have phone with fast performance. Xolo X900 initial review was very positive."said Vishal Sehgal, founder and director of Lava International.

As previously reported, Lava decided to produce smartphones based on the design that referenced by Intel. Finally Xolo X900 smartphone was born.

Samsung Delay Android's Ice Cream for Galaxy S II

20 million users Samsung Galaxy S II will be disappointed. Samsung didn't fulfill promise to provide Android latest OS, Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S II. The previous rumors said that Samsung will provide the latest operating system update for Galaxy S II on March 10, 2012. It is also written directly on the frequently asked questions page in Samsung Philippines site.

Quoted from engadget, Sunday (3/11/2012), Samsung quickly pulled the statement and verify updates via Twitter to said that Samsung Galaxy S II has not been established. Unfortunately, in the tweet Samsung just mention that the update is still premature and did not give definite timetable for the availability Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy SII.
